OUR STORY
About Hattie & Rose
Every bag we make starts the same way: a pair of hands, a spool of thread, and the belief that the things we carry every day deserve to be made with care rather than stamped out by a machine.
After twenty-two years at the sewing table, it is time to slow down.
Rose's mother taught us to quilt at her kitchen table, and we have spent the years since passing that little craft on through these bags. Now we are winding down. We would rather send the last of them to homes that will use them than leave them folded on a shelf. That is why everything is 60% off and the shipping is on us. Thank you for being part of the last chapter.

The comparison is with machine-made quilted totes as a product class, not with any named seller.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
You get a tracking link by email the moment yours leaves us, and again when it is out for delivery. Your tracking is always the most accurate picture of where your parcel is. If anything looks stuck, email us and we will chase the carrier for you.
Send it back within 30 days and we refund it in full. No photographs, no forms, and we will not ask you to justify yourself.
Every size is listed in inches on the product page. As a rule: the short tote carries a book and a day's shopping, the high tote swallows a laptop, and the duffle takes a long weekend.
Yes. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and let it dry flat. The lining wipes clean with a damp cloth, which handles most spills on its own.
Usually not. Prints are made in small runs, so when one is gone it tends to be gone for good.
EVERY BAG CARRIES A MEMORY
Some of the bags we sewed in our first years are still being carried today. That is not a slogan, it is simply what happens when nobody cuts corners on the stitching.
Twenty-two years on, we are saying thank you the only way we know how. Every bag is 60% off and the shipping is on us.
